Jewelry & Metals Studio

WaterWorks Art Center offers a variety of classes and workshops taught by local instructors in our well-equipped studio space. Topics for classes include metal fabrication, enameling, stone setting, chain making, wire wrapping, forging, and more in addition to project based classes. New offerings are available on a quarterly basis. Workshops are open to students of all levels unless specified in course description; beginners welcome. Students must be a minimum of 16 years of age to work in the Jewelry/Metals studio.

Each bench is equipped with an assortment of basic hand tools with additional tools provided as needed.

Jewelry/Metals Open Studio is also available for students once they have completed at least one WaterWorks Art Center Jewelry/Metals course of study (excluding one-day workshops). This allows students to work in the Jewelry/Metals Studio under supervision during the scheduled Open Studio time for a daily fee. Please check with staff in the office for pricing.
